Objective: allow students to use the expression for daily communication in a fun setting
Instructions:
1. students form a circle;
2. one student, A, walks outside the circle, taping on the back of each student;
3. when A taps someone, that person asks A a "V+了+没有" or "V没V" question; the question must be relevant to real life situations;
4. A must answer honestly, in full sentences; if the answer is no, A passes on; if the answer is yes, the person who has asked the question (student B) must get up and catch A before A runs the circle to reach the vacant spot of B.
Examples:
B: 你吃了饭没有?/你吃没吃饭?
A: 我没有吃饭。
→A PASSES on to the next student in circle
Outcome:
1. (most obviously) students enjoyed the game very much;
2. they got familiar with the expression and were good at asking questions that would force the walker to answer with "yes"
